Matthew has worked up and down the east coast, from Boston to Orlando. He often says that he has worked for some amazing chefs, but they are names you will never hear. His style is often described as simple and straight forward. Something you may not know about him is he is a distance runner and has just completed his first marathon and hopes to qualify for Boston this year.

Sous Chef

Greg has been with Umami since the start. Greg is a Cleveland native and has worked in some of the best kitchens in town. Every kitchen has a big toe and Umami's big toe is Greg. Greg can also fix just about anything in a kitchen.

At Umami we feel that the experience in the front is as important as what comes from the kitchen.
